Familiar Names at Worlds
Recognize anyone? Perhaps someone who won a medal in Rotterdam in 1987?
Yes, I’m thinking of Oksana Omelianchik and Elena Shevchenko, who were members of Soviet teams in the late 1980s. Interestingly enough, it was Shevchenko who made the olympic team in 1988 over 1985 World Champion Omelianchik.

What she was more known for was her innovative back to back tumbling and her charming choreography.
